The Central Upper Peninsula Sport Fishing Association, or CUPSFA, is dedicated to improving fishing opportunities in the Central Upper Peninsula. Our organization does this by focusing our efforts in the following areas:

• Habitat Improvement

  • Fish Cribs
  • Stream and River Improvement
  • Undesireable Fish Removal
  • Fish Surveys and Research
• Fishing Access
  • Handicap Accessible Platforms
  • Boat Access Sites
• Fishing Awareness
  • Community Meetings with the DNR
  • Kid's Fishing Days
  • Educational Fishing Seminars

CUPSFA works with other local fishing organizations, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the MUCC to accomplish our goal of improved fisheries.

CUPSFA is a non-profit organization and all monies obtained through membership dues and fund raisers are used to improve fishing habitat, improve fishing access and increase fishing awareness in the Central Upper Peninsula.
